"Canción Criolla Day"

Kinder koalas celebrated "The Canción Criolla Day" this october 30, we ate a lot of good food, these were delicius and all the kids came with a very nice costume.

"El Señor de los Milagros".

Durante las primeras dos semanas del presente bimestre hemos dilalogado sobre la Historia del Señor de los Milagros, aquí una breve historia.
"Cuenta la historia que un mulato cuyo nombre ha quedado oculto, pintó en un muro de adobe la imagen de Jesús crucificado. En 1655 un terremoto asoló Lima, pero el muro quedó en pie y olvidado por todos. Sorprendido por este hecho, Antonio de León arregló el lugar, construyó un altar y tuvo que detener su obra ya que un extraño mal lo aquejó. Curado milagrosamente del mismo, con mayor fervor fue donde la imagen milagrosa, para honrarla con arpa, cajón y músicos.
La imagen que se guarda en el templo de las Nazarenas está custodiada por religiosas de clausura con espiritualidad carmelitana, pero visten el hábito morado y reciben el nombre del Señor a quien cuidan.
En 1671 más de un centenar de personas se reunían para alabar con sus cantos y fiestas al Señor. En vista de tanto ruido, las autoridades mandaron destruir el muro, pero con gran sorpresa vieron que ocurrían diversos fenómenos que hacían imposible derribarlo.
El 20 de octubre de 1687 se hizo una reproducción de la imagen para poder ser sacada en procesión, ante los continuos temblores. Poco después un grupo de personas la convirtió en una de las manifestaciones de religiosidad popular más grandes de Latinoamérica".

"Working hard"

We are working so hard, we are making a nice ball using some papers and glue, then we can play with our little paper ball. Students were very happy to create their own ball.
